First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention

immediately.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected area with water for 15 minutes. Seek medical

attention.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention immediately.

Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, foam, dry powder or fine water spray may be

used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of phosphorus and

nitrogen, together with hydrogen chloride gas .

protective equipment must be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Full personal protective equipment and a self-contained

breathing apparatus should be worn. Isolate spillage and

take up with suitable absorbent material eg sand. Transfer

to suitably labelled containers and dispose of in accordance

with local regulations.

Handling and storage

Handling: Local exhaust ventilation should be fitted. Gloves, goggles,

self-contained breathing apparatus and full personal

protective equipment should be worn.

Storage: Store in tightly sealed containers, in a well ventilated

cool, dark place.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The preparations are packaged in 45-gal tighthead

drum-Vallathene lined, Nitrogen purged.

Personal protection equipment

Respiratory protection : A self contained respirator should be worn if the product is used in large quantities,

confined spaces or other circumstances where the OEL is likely to be approached or

exceeded.

Hand protection : Chemical protective gloves or gauntlets should be worn and removed correctly to avoid

skin contamination: Silver shield(TM). 4H(TM). Regarding glove's breakthrough

Eye protection : Face shield or safety goggles.

Skin protection : Wear impervious overalls in circumstances where significant skin contact can occur.
