First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient from exposure.  Obtain medical attention if

ill effects occur.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately irrigate with eyewash solution or clean water,

holding the eyelids apart, for at least 10 minutes.  Obtain

immediate medical attention.  Continue irrigation until

medical attention can be obtained.

Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing.  Wash skin with water.  If

symptoms (irritation or blistering) occur obtain medical

attention.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water and give 200-300ml of water to

drink.  Do not induce vomiting as a First-Aid measure.

Obtain medical attention if ill effects occur.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, foam, dry powder or CO2.

Protective equipment: A self contained breathing apparatus and suitable protective

clothing should be worn in fire conditions.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Protect against dust.  Ensure suitable personal protection

during removal of spillages.  Wear suitable gloves and

eye/face protection.  Wear suitable respiratory protective

equipment if exposure to high levels of dust are likely.

Prevent entry into drains, sewers or watercourses.

Clear up spillages.  Transfer to a container for disposal or

recovery.  Wash the spillage area with water.

Handling and storage

Handling: Control dust formation.  Do not breathe dust.  Avoid contact

with skin and eyes.  Take precautionary measures against

static discharges.

Storage: Keep container tightly closed.
