First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give

artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give

oxygen. Call a physician.

Emergency measure - Eyes: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of

water for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician.

Emergency measure - Skin: In case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of

water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated

clothing and shoes. Call a physician. Wash contaminated

clothing before reuse.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Immediately give

2 glasses of water. Never give anything by mouth to an

unconscious person. Call a physician.

Notes to Physicians:

Activated charcoal mixture may be beneficial. Suspend 50 g

activated charcoal in 400 mL water and mix well. Administer

5 mL/kg, or 350 mL for an average adult.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, dry chemical, carbon dioxide.

Product arising from burning: Hazardous gases or vapors can be released, including carbon

dioxide, carbon monoxide, oxides of nitrogen.

Protective equipment: Wear full protective clothing and a full facepiece, positive

pressure, self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA);

Decontaminate contaminated clothing and equipment with soap

and water. Dispose of residues per federal, state, and local

regulations.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: FOR SMALL SPILLS, vacuum or wet mop spilled material. Do not

sweep.

FOR LARGE SPILLS: Get workers out of area. Wear protective

equipment. Use supplied-air respiratory protection if dust

concentrations are not known; Vacuum up spilled material. Do

Not Sweep. Do not flush spill to sewer or ground. Wash area

thoroughly. Adequately ventilate area; Spill cleaning rags

and absorbant may be considered hazardous.

Handling and storage

Handling: Routine hygienic procedures will be sufficient to assure

personnel health and safety.

Storage: Store at less than 35 °C; 30 to 60 % relative humidity; away

from sunlight or ultraviolet light.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: PE bottles, 1 or 4 litre.
