Additional information

Based on a skin irritation study in rabbits, the test substance is not considered skin irritating. Although pink colouration was observed after 4 hours exposure to the test substance which persisted untill the end of the observation period, the substance needs no classification according to CLP.

In an in vivo eye irritation study in rabbits, the test substance induced slight irritation, but needs no classification.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the above mentioned result, classification for irritation/corrosion according to the CLP Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 and the Dangerous Substance Directive 67/548/EC is not necessary.
