- No experimental determination was possible using Method A.2 as the test material had been determined to decompose without melting (see section 4.2). Using structural information supplied by the Sponsor and an adaption of the Stein and Brown Method MPBPWIN version 1.41, ©2000 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the boiling temperature was estimated to be greater than 360°C (>633 K) for all three components in the test material at 101.325 kPa.
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- The test material had been determined to decompose without melting. Therefore no experimental value for boiling temperature could be determined. A calculated value of boiling temperature gave a result of greater than 633 K at 101.325 kPa for all three major components in the test material.
