Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Adsorption/Desorption screening:

An adsorption/desorption screening test (according to OECD 121/ EEC C.19) was not performed, since NeoHeliopan® AP is expected to have a low potential for adsorption.

Nevertheless, the logPow for Neo Heliopan® AP is determined to be <-2.4. The QSAR calculation (PCKOCWIN v2.00) that based on the logPow of -2.4 results in a logKoc of 0.17. Hence, it can safely be assumed that the potential for adsorption is very low. For the hazard assessment a logKoc of 0.17 is used.

Henry´s Law constant / Volatilisation

Based on the vapour pressure of the substance (1.4·10-6 hPa (20°C)), NeoHeliopan® AP can safely be considered as non-volatile. In addition, a calculation of Henry`s law constant at 4.72 10-5 Pa m³/mol on the basis of the experimental determination of water solubility and vapour pressure, indicates that the substance does not volatilize from water or wet surfaces.

Distribution modelling

According to a fugacity model calculation using EpiSuite v4.1 (Fugacity Model Level III), the distribution of the substance NeoHeliopan® AP between the environmental compartments air, water soil and sediment is as follows:

air 0.155 %, water 1.65 %, soil 35 % and sediment 63.2%.
