Any other information on results incl. tables

1.1.1.    Preliminary test

The estimated flash-point of the test substance was 121°C.

1.1.2.    Main study

The results of the main study on the determination of the flash-point of the test substance are given inTable10.

The difference between the results obtained with test 3 and 4 was>2°C. Considering the high viscosity of the test substance and the similar variation observed during the main studies 2 this is considered the best achievable result. The results were therefore accepted and the lowest flash-point obtained is reported.

1        Flash-point temperature is < 18°C or > 28°C from the temperature of the first application of the ignition source and therefore not valid.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The closed cup method was applied for the determination of the flash-point of V125226
The lowest obtained flash-point of the test substance was 103°C.
