Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Additional information

Phototransformation

After evaporation or exposure to air, the substance will be rapidly degraded by photochemical processes.

Hydrolysis

According to structural properties, hydrolysis is not expected/probable.

Biodegradation

The substance is poorly biodegradable.

Bioaccumulation

Does not significantly accumulate in organisms.

Adsorption/Desorption

Adsorption to solid soil phase is expected under environmentally relevant conditions.

Henry's Law Constant

From the water surface, the substance will not evaporate into the atmosphere under environmentally relevant conditions.

Distribution

Over time, the uncharged substance will preferentially distribute into the compartments water (86.2%), soil (6.8%) and sediment (6.9%). However, as the model does not consider the ionic character of the molecule at environmental relevant pH condition, the distribution into water may be underestimated by the model.
