The LC50 of Brachydanio rerio after 96 hours of exposure to the substance Carbohydrates and Sugars, hexitols, anhydro, is > 100 mg/L. The NOEC is equal to 100 mg/L.

The substance Carbohydrates and Sugars, hexitols, anhydro, was tested for its toxicity to fish, Brachydanio rerio, according to the OECD Guideline 203 and in compliance with GLP.
All the validity criteria were met and the study is considered as valid.
No mortality was observed in the control and the test vessels. The LC50 of Brachydanio rerio after 96 hours of exposure to the tested substance under semi-static conditions, is > 100 mg/L. The NOEC is equal to 100 mg/L.
