Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Eye contact: Bathe the eye with running water for 15 minutes. Consult a doctor.
Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water. Give water to drink. Consult a doctor.
Inhalation: Remove casualty from exposure ensuring one's own safety whilst doing so.
Fire-fighting measures
Exposure hazards: In combustion can release carbon monoxide, carbone dioxide, hydrogen chloride, nitrogen oxides, organochloric compounds,
chlorine compounds.
Advice for fire-fighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes.
In case of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes Collect contaminated extinguishing water separately, do not allow to reach sewage or
effluent systems. Dispose of fire debris and contaminated extiguishing water in accordance with official regulations.
Accidental release measures
Environmental precautions: Do not allow substance to enter the soil, natural bodies of water, rivers, sewers or water
purification plants.
Clean-up procedures: Contain small spillages with dust binding material and dispose of Sweep up or vacuum
up spillage.
Handling and storage
Storage conditions: Keep cool and dry. Keep away from direct sunlight. Avoid contact with water or humidity.
Suitable packaging: Must only be kept in original packaging.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Hand protection: Protective gloves.
Eye protection: Safety glasses with side-shields.
Skin protection: Ensure safety shower is to hand.
Environmental: No special requirement.
Stability and reactivity
Chemical stabiity: Stable under normal conditions.
Hazardous reactions: Reacts with oxidising agents.
Conditions to avoid: Heat.
Materials to avoid: Oxidising agents.
Hazardous decomposition products: In combustion emits toxic fumes of carbon dioxide / carbon monoxide. In combustion emits toxic fumes of nitrogen oxides. In combustion emits toxic fumes of hydrogen chloride.
Disposal considerations
Disposal of packaging: Empty containers should be decontaminated and where possible recycled otherwise they should be disposed of according to local regulations.
NB: The user's attention is drawn to the possible existence of regional or national regulations regarding disposal.
