Additional information

Neither Ca(OH)2 nor Al(OH)3 both are the main constituents of CAHC are known as sensitisingsubstances. Long term studies for Ca(OH)2 and Al(OH)3 doesn´t show any sensitising properties. See additional Read-Across-Study for Al(OH)3 and Lit: Recommendation from the Scientific Committee on Occupational Exposure Limits for Calcium oxide (CaO) and calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2) and Draft human and environmental risk assessment of calcium hydroxide prepared by the Washington State Department of Ecology, March 2005
