Type of information:
read-across from supporting substance (structural analogue or surrogate)
Adequacy of study:

Justification for type of information:
HYPOTHESIS FOR THE ANALOGUE APPROACH
Target and source substances belong to the family of silicates. Silicates are known to be practically non-toxic as can be seen on the ECHA website for the source substances. Target and source substances only differ with respect to their morphology. They only differ on the microscopic level. However, this does not alter the substance properties of source substances and target substance at the macroscopic level. For further details please refer to the read across justification under IUCLID section 13.
