Based on the estimated boiling point and the standard DSC, it was determined that KS-22 was likely to boil prior to decomposing at atmospheric pressure. A boiling point at atmospheric pressure (745 mm Hg) was performed. The residual sample weight and lack of residue indicated that the test substance boiled.

KS-22 boils at 364.8°C (637.9K)±0.5 at 101.325 kPa.
