In accordance with section 1 of REACH Annex XI, the study does not need to be conducted as the flammability of liquids is assessed by reference to their flash point (7.9 There is no indication on the basis of structure and expierence in handling and use that the substance is flammable in contact with air or water.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The flash point of the substance range from -51 to -22°C and the boiling point is ca 34°C; therefore, the substance is classified for flammability.

According to CLP Regulation, Annex I, table 2.6.1on criteria for flammable liquids, and according to the Guidance on the Application of the CLP Regulation, section 2.7.4.5 Decision logic, GLS-Silane should be classified as extremely flammable liquid (H224).
