Description of key information
Two QSAR studies have been reported to support the weigh of evidence approach on the identification of potential developmental toxicity of this compound.

Toxicity to reproduction: other studies

Additional information

Results obtained from these two studies suggest a potential developmental toxicity of this compound based both on calculation (TEST) and on structural analogue QSAR (VEGA).

Because of corticosteroids are well known to have adverse effects on developmental toxicity, these two reliable and literature known models have been evaluated to assess the potential toxicity of the compound for the purpose of classification and labelling, and risk assessment under REACh Regulation (1907/2006/CE).

Justification for classification or non-classification

As suggested in the weigh of evidence approach, the substance is classified as potential develplmental toxicant.
