Description of key information

During preliminary testing, the test substance was found to form fine dispersions that could not be cleaned up. Therefore it was decided not to perform an experimental test, as undissolved test substance would interfere with the analyses (Harlan 2012a).
For two representative components a calculation with WSKOWWIN 1.41 showed that the test substance is not soluble in water (Harlan 2012a).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
0 mg/L
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The value mentioned above is of limited quality, as the structures modelled had molecular weights and logKow values outside the applicability model of the QSAR. No quantification of the water solubility could be made with other models due to the extreme high logKow value and therefore the highest value of the QSAR calculations was selected in a worst case assumption.
