Description of key information

Daphnids were exposed to 0 and 100 mg/L test substance during 48 hours. No immobility was found. The analyses for accuracy of preparation at the maximum concentration attainable showed that the actual concentration was below the LOQ (0.0063 mg/L) (Harlan 2013e)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water invertebrates

Fresh water invertebrates
Effect concentration:
0.2 mg/L

Additional information

No toxicity was reported at the loading rate of 100 mg/L. It is expected that the EC50 will be above the maximum attainable concentration. The water solubility level is used as the starting point for risk assessment.
