Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The substance is an amorphous solid at room temperature. No endothermic peak consistent with a melting point was observed in the DSC plot (see Section 4.3, Boiling Point) between room temperature and the decomposition temperature onset at 259.1°C. As a result, the freezing point was determined in a guideline study, after heating to 80°C and cooling to 6.4°C, indicating significant hysteresis (the substance is normally a solid at room temperature).
