Description of key information

11.6 to 19.0 °C (284.7 to 292.1 K), OECD TG 102, O'Connor, White, 2013

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The melting temperature determination was carried out by differential scanning calorimetry using a procedure designed to be compatible with OECD TG 102.

The melting temperature range of the test item was determined to be 11.6 to 19.0 °C (284.7 to 292.1 K). Quantification was possible under a nitrogen atmosphere only. Under an air atmosphere, either no melting was evident, or the observed melting temperature range was not reproducible.
