Description of key information

The acute toxicity of Tetrabenzylcyclen to fish was tested according to OECD TG 203 "Fish, acute toxicity test". After 96 hours of exposure a LC50 is higher than a saturated solution (< 1 mg/L). Therefore no effects were determined up to the limit of water solubility.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The LC50 was higher than the solubility limit of Tetrabenzylcyclen. It was demonstrated that the test substance Tetrabenzylcyclen is not toxic to fish up to the maximum solubility (< 1 mg/L).
