Additional information

The acute toxicity to aquatic invertebrates was studied according to OECD 202 with Daphnia magna as test species. The test item was hydroxyethylpiperazine mixture. Based on the results of the range-finding test, the study was designed as a limit test with a single concentration (120 mg/L, nominal). The test animals were exposed under static for 48 h to the test item. The chemical monitoring of the test concentration showed that the test item was stable over the exposure period (99.3% of nominal). At the tested concentration no daphnids were immobilsed, therefore the 48 -h EC50 was determined to be greater than 120 mg/L (BASF SE, 2013; report no. 50E0722/11E128).
