Description of key information

The substance showed no toxicity to fish up to its limit of water solubility (0.1 mg/L), under the conditions of the EEC Annex V C1 test guideline

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Two short-term toxicity studies in fish are available for the substance, in Brachydanio rerio and Oncorhynchus mykiss. They were undertaken under semi-static or static conditions without or with auxiliary solvent (dimethylformamide), respectively, according to the EEC Annex V C1 test guideline. Both studies were undertaken at concentrations up to the limit of solubility. No mortality or behavioural abnormality was observed. The 96-h LC50s for both species were above their respective water solubility limits of 0.05 or 0.1 mg/L
