Ignition system that consisted of a 25-cm long nickel / chrome wire wound using a 5-mm diameter
rod, in the shape of a coil. The ignition system was soldered to a car battery by a laser.
Aluminium bursting disk of 0.3-mm thickness: The thickness of the disk differed from the one
prescribed by the Commission Directive 2004/73/EEC - A21 method (0.2 mm). This modification
did not affect the quality or the interpretation of the results obtained.
