Study results:

Mortality:

At 204 mg/m3: 3 of 10 mice died;

At up to 135 mg/m3: no mortality observed.

Toxicity effects:

At 65 mg/m3 -mild transient ataxia and disturbed gait in mice.

At ≥135 mg/m3 –neurological effects, completely reversible within 24 hours of cessation of exposure.

At ≥135 mg/m3 –vasodilation in the ear and tail veins.

At 204 mg/m3 -decreased food and water intake with subsequent weight loss and dehydration.

LOEC (short-term, inhalation, mice) =65 mg/m3 (mild transient neurological effects)
