First-aid measures

In all cases of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical attention.

If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical attention.

In case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation develops.

In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention.

Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical attention.

Harmful if swallowed. Causes serious eye irritation. Harmful if inhaled. May cause respiratory irritation.

If skin irritation or rash occurs, get medical advice/attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media:Suitable extinguishing media:  Dry chemical, foam, water spray, carbon dioxide.

                                    Unsuitable extinguishing media: Not available.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:Combustion products include carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides (NOx).

Advice for fire-fighters:As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand. MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) and full protective gear.

Accidental release measures

For non-emergency personnel:Use personal protective equipment. Ensure adequate ventilation. If insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. If material is in a dry state, avoid inhalation of dust.

For emergency responders:Wear an appropriate NIOSH/MSHA approved respirator if mist, vapor or dust is generated.

Environmental Precautions:Do not allow material to be released to the environment without proper governmental permits.

Methods for Containment and Cleaning up:Clean up spills immediately, using the appropriate protective equipment. Sweep up, then place into a suitable container for disposal. Avoid generating dusty conditions. Provide ventilation. Clean up affected area.

Additional information:Wet clean or vacuum up solids.Don't use a brush or compressed air for cleaning surfaces or clothing.Clear spills immediately.

Handling and storage

Protective measures:Avoid breathing dust. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the workplace. Wear appropriate protective equipment. Wash hands after use.

Advice on general occupational hygiene:Do not eat, drink and smoke in work areas. Wash hands after use. Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:Keep container tightly closed. Store in a dry and well-ventilated place. Store away from incompatible materials such as oxidizing agents.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Appropriate engineering controls:

Use adequate general or local exhaust ventilation to keep airborne concentrations below the permissible exposure limits. Facilities storing or utilizing this material should be equipped with an eyewash facility and a safety shower.

Individual protection measures, such as personal protective equipment:

      Eye/face protection       Safety glasses.

      Hand protection       Protective gloves.

Body protection       Wear appropriate protective clothing to prevent skin contact.

Respiratory protection       When the high concentration of dust in the air, wearing self-absorption of dust filter masks.

Thermal hazards       Wear suitable protective clothing to prevent heat.

Environmental exposure controls:

Avoid discharge into the environment. According to local regulations, Federal and official regulations.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity:The substance is stable under normal storage and handling condion.

Chemical stability:Stable at room temperature in closed containers under normal storage and handling conditions.

Possibility of hazardous reactions:No dangerous reactions known.

Conditions to avoid:Incompatible materials. Dust generation, exposure to moist air or water.

Incompatible materials:Oxidizing agents.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods:

Waste generators must consult state and local hazardous waste regulations to ensure complete and accurate classification.

Product / Packaging disposal:

If empty container retains product residues, all label precautions must be observed. Return for reuse or dispose according to national or local regulations.
