Description of key information

75.43% by volume of sample was seen to be < 10.00 μm

Additional information

The analysis is conducted initially using a visual microscope and is then undertaken more formally using a Laser Diffraction

Particle Size Analyser.

The analysis was conducted using the dry powder module. The laser diffraction test conducted to determine the particle size analysis produced the following results:

  Average (μm)
volume weighted mean 21.676
median (d.50) 3.547
mode 3.478
MMAD (mass median aerodynamic diameter) 5.541
10% of material is <  0.742
50% of material is <  3.547
90% of material is <  71.646
