Combustion in excess oxygen produces carbon dioxide and water vapor.
The partial combustion can also form carbon monoxide, soot and cracking products: aldehydes, ketones.
- Special risks:
Combustion with oxygen shortage produces carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide and various
Cracking products, which is very harmful inhalation.
- Additional information:
Cool endangered containers with water spray.
Prevent and control the spill if safe.
Keep people involved in the operation away from the containers and the side where the wind blows.
Extinguishing water must be collected separately and should not be discharged into the sewer.
Fire residues and contaminated firefighting water must be disposed of according to regulations and in accordance with the Environmental Management System implemented.
