Description of key information

EUF was tested with the zebra fish Danio rerio in a 96 h semi-static test according to OECD Guideline 203. The concentration of EUF during exposure was monitored indirectly via formaldehyde, resulting in no significant loss of test substance during the test period. Considering nominal concentrations the LC50 was determined to be 130 mg/L.

EUF was additionally tested for acute toxicity to the juvenile turbot Scophthalmus maximus, a marine species, in a 96 h semi-static test according to the OECD Guideline 203. The test was designed as a limit test. No effect was observed at the only applied test substance concentration of 3.56 mg/L.
