Administrative data
First-aid measures
Skin contact:
Immediately wash affected area with soap and water. Do not use organic solvents. Seek medical advice if irritation develops.
Eye contact:
Immediately flush eyes with plenty of clean water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice if irritation develops.
Inhalation:
Remove patient to fresh air. In case of respiratory system or mucous membranes, or if you feel unwell or in case of prolonged exposure, get medical attention.
Ingestion:
Do not induce vomiting because of risk of aspiration into the lungs. If aspiration is suspected obtain immediate medical attention. Rinse mouth with water (do not swallow).
Notes to physician:
None
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media:
Carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder, alcohol or polymer foam, carbon dioxide or dry agents
Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons:
Do not use a straight stream of water.
Special exposure hazards arising from the substance or preparation itself, combustion products, resulting gases:
Smoke, fumes, oxides of carbon
Special protective equipment for fire fighters:
Firemen should wear normal protective equipment (full bunker gear) and positive-pressure self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions:
Clean-up personnel should wear protective clothing and equipment to prevent inhalation of mist and skin and eye contact. Remove all sources of ignition.
Environmental precautions:
Do not allow entering public sewers and watercourses.
Methods for cleaning up:
Large spill: Eliminate all sources of heat and ignition. Carefully collect the spilled material and place in a bucket.
Small spill: Carefully collect the spilled material and place in a bucket. The area should be thoroughly cleaned.
Handling and storage
Handling:
Utilise recommended protective equipment. Use with adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Storage:
Keep away from heat sparks, open flames, and detective electrical wiring or equipment, etc. Store in a cool place.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Occupational exposure controls:
Provide general and/or local exhaust ventilation to control airborne levels below the exposure guidelines.
Personal protective equipment
Respiratory protection: Wear an approved air-purifying respirator.
Hand protection: Wear chemical resistant gloves.
Eye protection: Wear safety glasses.
Skin protection: Wear chemical protection suit.
Environmental exposure controls: None specific
Stability and reactivity
Conditions to avoid:
Direct sunlight, high temperature
Materials to avoid:
Oxidizing agents, Peroxides
Hazardous decomposition products:
Aldehydes, Carbon monoxide or Carbon dioxide.
Disposal considerations
Incineration: Should be in accordance with local regulations.
Recycling: Should be in accordance with local regulations.
Land filling: Should be in accordance with local regulations.
