SHORT-TERM TOXICITY

For the test item short-term aquatic ecotoxicity studies for all three trophic levels (fish, daphnia and algae) are available as well as studies on sludge respiration inhibition. The values based on nominal values. The time-weighted mean measured test concentration at algae toxicity was > 39 mg/L (EC50)

 Fish:  OECD 203   LC50 (96h)   > 100 mg/L   Key Study
 Daphnia:  OECD 202  EC50 (48h)   > 100 mg/L  Key Study
 Algae:  OECD 201  ErC50 (72h)  > 100 mg/L  Key Study
 Microorganisms (Sludge)  OECD 209  NOEC (3h)  EC50 (3h)  > 1000 mg/L  Key Study

LONG-TERM TOXICITY

Read across 21d Daphnia

For reasons given in the waiving statements Section 6.1.2 no long-term fish toxicity tests were carried out. Instead a long-term invertebrate study with daphnia was established. The values based on nominal concentrations.

Algae: OECD 201   ErC10 (72h) 100 mg/L   Key Study
 Daphnia:  OECD 211  NOEC (21d)  3.2 mg/L   Key Study
