The Log Koc measured of this complex reaction product is ranged from 2.21 to >5.63. 87.5% of the components of this UVCB have Log Koc ranged from 3.35 to 4.5.
The highest log Koc in this last range value was considered as a worst-case value for the CSA.

The adsorption/desorption coefficients of this complex reaction product were measured according to OECD 121 testing guideline.

A range of adsorption/desorption coefficient values was obtained: 2.21 to >5.63, 87.5% of the components have Log Koc ranged from 3.35 to 4.5.

The components with log Koc values between 3.35 and 4.5 being the most abundant (87.5%), the highest log Koc value (4.5) in this range was used for chemical safety assessment (CSA) and for the derivation of Predicted No-Effect Concentrations (PNEC) in sediments and soil.

This value was considered as a worst-case value, increase of adsorption/desorption coefficient value leading to a significant increase of the PEC soil value.
