Executive summary:

20 Daphnia were exposed to BAY 43 -9006 in a saturated solution (nominal concentration: 0.5 mg/L) and a control in a limit test over a period of 48h. Immobilization was recorded at 24 and 48 h. No immobilized Daphnia were observed during the test. Thus the EC0 was higher than a saturated solution, measured with </= 0.031 mg/L.
