First-aid measures

Inhalation:       Seek fresh air.  If symptoms develop: If the person does not breathe, give rescue breaths. If the person breathes, place the person in the recovery position. Seek medical advice immediately.

      Skin contact:       Remove /take off contaminated clothing immediately. In the event of skin contact rinse and wash with plenty of water and soap.

      Eye contact:       Rinse with plenty of water for minimum 15 minutes.  In the event of symptoms: Seek medical advice.

      Ingestion:       Rinse the mouth and throat with plenty of water. Drink water, milk or juice. Seek medical advice immediately. If the injured person is unconscious: Seek medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Fire extinguishing media:       NOT SUITABLE: None.

Suitable extinguishants:       Foam, carbon dioxide, powder, atomized water spray.

Notable risk exposure:       Avoid inhalation of smoke and vapours.

Special protective equipment:       Wear suitable protective equipment in the event of fire in small closed rooms or at heavy smoke formation.

Accidental release measures

Personal protective equipment:       Avoid inhalation of dust. If dust cannot be avoided, wear a dust mask fitted with a P3 filter

      Environmental protection:       Avoid discharge to sewer.

      Cleaning methods:       Spills to be cleaned up or use a vacuum cleaner fitted with an adequate dust filter.  Collected material to be stored in a suitable and closed container with identifying label. Dispose of material to a licensed waste facility. Wash the contaminated area with water and detergent.                            

Handling and storage

Handling:       Adequate ventilation is required when working with the material.       

Avoid formation of dust and sources of ignition in the workspace. Avoid personal contact with the product and dust inhalation. No food or drinks are allowed. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of the workday.

Handling and storage:       Protect from sunlight. Store in original containers.
