Justification for classification or non-classification

The substance is a salt that dissociates in aqueous matrix in its acid and alkaline constituents.

Considering the toxicological profile of the intermediate no information is available: for this reason the constituents of the substance itself acetil 2-amino-5-chlorobenzenesulphonic (Acetil ACBS) and pyridine are taken into account in order to assess the two moiety singularly.

The alkaline moiety of the substance (Pyridine) is classified as Flamm Liq 2; H222. Since it is not possible to establish if this property is also applicable to the substance and it is not aware of the salt's ionization property; the endpoint is judged as inconclusive for the classification according to CLP Regulation (CE) n.1272/2008.
