Additional information

Mineral Paraffin Oil is a liquid substance, not soluble in water, with very low vapour pressure. The data from animal studies report no skin irritation effects and only slight reversible eye irritation.

Mineral Paraffin Oil is an industrial chemical which is not available to general public (consumers).

Exposure to Mineral Paraffin Oil (aerosol/mist or liquid form) is relevant in occupational settings where eye contact with Mineral Paraffin Oil may be possible. However, it is considered a general industrial practice to wear eye and face protective equipment to prevent contact with chemicals. Appropriate eye protection is a part of the Guidance on safe Use of Mineral Paraffin Oil recommended here.
