Irritation parameter:
edema score
Basis:
mean
Time point:
other: 24, 48, 72 h
Score:
0
Max. score:

Remarks on result:
other: No edema were observed throughout the whole study period.
Irritation parameter:
erythema score
Basis:
mean
Time point:
other: 24, 48, 72 h
Score:
< 2
Max. score:
4
Reversibility:
fully reversible within: 10 days
Remarks on result:
other: No raw data available. Description of results led to the conclusion that the mean values for erythema have been smaller than 2.
Irritant / corrosive response data:
All six animals showed slight or clearly visible erythema (grade 1 or 2) up to 48 hours. At day 7, slight erythema (grade 1) still persisted in 5 animals, but had resolved in all but one animal at day 10. None of the animals showed edema at any of the observations.
