Additional information

Henry’s Law Constant (25°C) calculated based on HENRYWIN programme v3.20 (EPISUITE) is < 0.01 Pa m³/mol for most of the Fatty Acid Glycerides. Thus, they have a very low volatility and will not evaporate into the atmosphere from the water phase. Only C12-18 trialkyl glyderide (CAS No. 67701-26-2) has a fairly higher Henry’s Law Constant (4.77 Pa m³/mol) but is still not highly volatile.

With a partition coefficient log Kow > 5 an adsorption potential of Fatty Acid Glycerides to soil particles exists. The Koc values calculated with (Q)SAR (KOCWIN v2.00, Episuite) for Fatty Acid Glycerides based on experimental or calculated log Kow values range from 1415 L/kg for C16 monoglycerides to 1.086E+14 L/kg for C18 triglycerides.
