The logKoc value of the test substance was calculated by the software tool KOCWIN v2.0 (EPIWIN software) of US-EPA (Chemservice S.A., 2014a). The MCI method which is regarded as more reliable than the traditional method reveals a logKoc value of 1.257 L/kg (equals Koc of 18.1). Conclusively, the substance is not likely sorbed to soil and/or sediment. Substances with a Koc values in the range of 1 – 100 have a very low binding capacity (Blume, 1990).
