Additional information

In a non-GLP flash point study conducted in accordance with standardised guidelines, the flash point of the test substance was determined using the closed cup method. Under the conditions of the test, the flash point of (R)-2,2,3-trimethylcyclopent-3-ene-1-acetaldehyde was determined to be 76 °C. This study was assigned a reliability score of 1 using the principle for assessing data quality as set out in Klimisch (1997) and is therefore considered to be the key study.

The origin and quality of the safety data sheet data submitted as supporting information could not be assessed, the data was therefore assigned a reliability score of 4 using the principle for assessing data quality as set out in Klimisch (1997) and is therefore considered to be the supporting study. The flash point was reported as 151 °F (66.11 °C).
