Description of key information

> 175 °C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The melting point of the substance was determined by Differential Scanning Calorimetry according to OECD Guideline 102.

The test item shows no melting of the main component up to 175 °C.

In the temperature range between about 175 °C and 192 °C the test item shows an endothermic effect. This effect is possibly a change of the molecule structure (for example rearrangement /abreaction) and not the melting of the test item. Additionally, the melting of crystalline subcomponents was detected between -34 °C and 91 °C.

From 252 °C the substance shows most probably a decomposition and evaporation of the decomposition components.
