Description of key information

A GLP study on the long-term toxicity of the test item to fish was conducted in accordance with the OECD Testing Guideline 210.

The NOEC for hatching success was determined to be ≥ 7.75 mg test item/L.

Based on the test results, the NOEC for 30 days post hatch (DPH) survival for Zebrafish (Danio rerio) was determined to be 0.624 mg test item/L, the LOEC was determined to be 1.94 mg test item/L.

For body wet weight, the EC10 was determined to be 1.68 mg test item/L and the NOEC for body wet weight was determined to be 1.94 mg test item/L and the LOEC for body wet weight was determined to be 7.75 mg test item/L.

For body dry weight, the EC10 was determined to be 5.70 mg test item/L and the NOEC for body dry weight was determined to be 1.94 mg test item/L and the LOEC for body dry weight was determined to be 7.75 mg test item/L.

For body length, the NOEC was determined to be ≥ 7.75 mg test item/L and the LOEC for body length was determined to be > 7.75 mg test item/L.

All reported results refer to time-weighted arithmetic mean measured concentrations, since the test item concentrations were not within ± 20% of the nominal concentrations during the test.

The lowest NOEC value (0.624 mg/L) was selected for the chemical safety assessment.
