Exposure assessment does not indicate the need to investigate further terrestrial toxicity. Terrestrial toxicity studies are not proposed by the registrant since exposure of the substance to the terrestrial compartment is extremely unlikely; the substance is solely used as an intermediate in chemical processes and in fact during manufacturing, formulation and industrial processes all wastes, including gas emissions, water and solid waste, are incinerated in approved incineration plants, as described in section 3.5.
