The flammability of the test item was determined according to EU Method A.10. Based on experience in handling and use and the chemical structure pyrophoricity and flammability on contact with water are not to be expected. Based on the EU A.16 test (in analogy to Grewer Oven test), the substance is not self-heating.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The available data on flammability of the test substance do not meet the criteria for classification according to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 and are therefore conclusive but not sufficient for classification: No propagation of burning in a test according to EU Method A.10 was observed. Based on the chemical structure and experience in handling and use, pyrophoricity and flammability on contact with water are not expected. Based on the EU A.16 test (in analogy to Grewer Oven test), the substance is not self-heating.
