Additional information

Several reliable literature sources report the dissociation constant of 2-methylimidazole as result from experimental studies to be 7,85 - 7,86 at 25°C. In addition a QSAR estimation was done using SPARC v4.5 with the result of 7,88 at 25°C. The value which originates from HSDB which is a peer reviewed data base is 7,86 at 25°C. Thus the dissociation constant of 7,86 at 25°C is regarded to be reliable for 2-methylimidazole.
