Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

TERRESTRIAL TOXICITY

As the registration substance has a low sorption potential to sewage sludge (see IUCLID Chapter 5.4.1) transfer to the terrestrial compartment via amendment of sewage sludge to agricultural soil is very limited. In addition the registration substance is rapidly degraded in the terrestrial compartment (see IUCLID Chapter 5.2.3). Based on these facts it can be concluded that soil is not the target compartment and therefore terrestrial ecotoxicity tests are not warranted. Due to the low sorption properties the PNEC soil can be calculated from the PNEC freshwater using the equilibrium parititioning method (see REACH Guidance R.10.6.1).
