Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: see 'Remark'
Remarks:
Study conducted in compliance with agreed protocols, with no or minor deviations from standard test guidelines and/or minor methodological deficiencies, which do not affect the quality of the relevant results. The study report was conclusive, with experiments conducted according to appropriate and valid guidelines and conducted under GLP conditions.
Principles of method if other than guideline:
The appearance of the substance was observed and noted in a sensitisation study report.

Additional information

The physical state of the test material at room temperature has been addressed on a weight of evidence basis using two GLP compliant study reports. Denton (1994) reports the test material to be a white crystalline powder at room temperature and Baltussen (2012) reports the test material as a white powder at room temperature. Both studies were performed to GLP and in line with relevant test guidelines and have therefore both been assigned a reliability score of 1 according to the principles for assessing data quality set out in Klimisch (1997).
