Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Oxidising properties:
no

Additional information

A GLP experimental study, according to EU Method A.17 and scored as Klimisch 1, is selected as a key study, indicating that reaction mass of lanthanum phosphate and cerium phosphate and terbium phosphate has no oxidising properties under the conditions of the test. A data waiving is also provided to state that there is no need for further testing as there is no structural alert in the registered molecule.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The EU method A.17 is used to establish the classification with respect to oxidizing properties under DSD. Under CLP, the required method is the UN O.1 test. However, both REACH (Annex VII Column 2) and CLP Regulations allow waiving this endpoint in the absence of structural alert. Thus, based on both the results of the A.17 test and the absence of chemical groups associated with oxidizing properties, it can be concluded that reaction Mass of Lanthanum Phosphate and Cerium Phosphate and Terbium Phosphate does not require a classification regarding its oxidising properties, neither under DSD, nor under CLP or UN GHS.
