Description of key information

In the acute immobilization test with Daphnia magna (STRAUS) the effects of the saturated solution of the test item ( nominal 100 mg/L) was determined according to OECD 202 (2004) and Directive 92/69/EEC Method C (1992). The limit test was conducted under static conditions over a period of 48 h. 20 test organisms were exposed to the saturated solution and the control. The solubility of the test item is significantly lower than 1 mg/L and probably in the range of 1 to 20 µg/L and therefore an analytical determination was not done. The validity criteria of the test guideline were fulfilled.
At the saturated solution of the test item no biologically significant effect was determined.
