Additional information

No data are available for the reaction product. However, in an acute oral toxicity study in rats (OECD 423, GLP) with the main component of the reaction mass, i.e. 2-(2-Methylallyl)-cyclododecanon (CAS 62599-49-9), no mortality has been observed up to the limit dose of 2000 mg/kg bw/d (BASF 2014; 10A0738/13X213).

Justification for classification or non-classification

The present data on acute oral toxicity do not fulfill the criteria laid down in 67/548/EEC and regulation (EU) 1272/2008, and therefore, a non-classification is warranted.
