The following information is taken into account for any environmental exposure assessment: Calculation performed using the equation provided in the European Chemicals Bureau: Technical Guidance Document on Risk Assessment, Chapter 4 "Predominantly hydrophobics". The domain of this equation is for all chemicals with C, H, F, Cl, Br, and I having a log Kow from 1 to 7.5. HFPO is in the domain of this equation. There is no log Koc equation specified for perfluorinated substances therefore this was deemed the most applicable.
